About this agency
Metro provides free HIV testing to our community. Our certified HIV testers offer two types of testing:
Blood-based
Blood-based testing is completed by drawing a blood sample and sending it to the lab, results provided within 3 days, is considered the best testing available.
OraSure
The Orasure test is an oral swab that is sent to the Health Deptartment for testing. Results come back in 2-3 weeks.
Clearview
Clearview testing is a simple finger prick test and results are available in 15 minutes.
