About this agency
The clinic provides consultation and medical assistance for all areas of reproductive health. This includes birth control for both males and females. Examinations include pelvic exam, breast exam, pap test, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted disease testing and general tests such as blood pressure, urine and hemoglobin.
Services at the health department are provided by appointment and a fee is required for most services.
Charges are based on the sliding fee scale and adjusted according to the number in the family and gross income for the family.
Proof of identity, income and residency are required for some services. The health department accepts Tenncare, Medicare and private insurance for some services
