About this agency
Every county health department provides STD testing daily; however, appointments may be needed. Call your local health department for more information. Standard STD screening includes chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and HIV testing.
Our services are available to everyone regardless of age, race, religion, national origin, political belief, disability or sex. We charge only minimal fees for our services, and some services have adjusted fee scales based on ability to pay. Our accepted forms of payment are cash, check, some credit/debit cards, and insurance: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid (PeachState, AmeriGroup & WellCare), Medicare, and State Health Benefit Plan (BCBS).
