The City of Milwaukee Health Department's Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) and HIV Program seeks to prevent the spread of STDs and HIV by proving education to health providers and citizens of the city of Milwaukee, offering preventative and screening and treatment services care to the general population.

Keenan Health Center, often referred to as the "STD Clinic," provides STD/HIV related services to uninsured and underinsured residents of Milwaukee and surrounding communities. Services are provided to anyone who is at least 12 years of age at no cost to the client. However, the clinic reserves the right to request insurance reimbursement while protecting each client's confidentiality.

Services Offered:
 
    Screening, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases

    Confidential HIV counseling and testing

    Free condoms

    Vaccinations against Hepatitis B (with full exam)

    Risk reduction counseling

Staff at KHC also does epidemiological investigations and follow-up for patients who are known to have or are suspected of having Syphilis, HIV, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia. All services are confidential.
